Father's Day Weekend

Of course we let Douglas sleep in while we got everything ready.  The girls worked hard on writing him a letter while I cleaned up the house.  We made breakfast together.  We made French toast, potatoes, honeydew, cantaloupe, oranges, bacon and orange juice.  After a wonderful breakfast we let him read his cards and open presents.  This year we got him shirts, ties and pants.  He loves clothes!  Then we were off to church. The primary had their traditional daddy songs.  It is Emily's last year in primary and therefore her last time to sing for him.  (Maya however loves the song "I'm so glad when Daddy comes home" and sings it every day). After church we headed up to Pleasant View to celebrate Father's day with Doug's family.  The kids had fun playing with their cousins.
