Spooktacular Party

Family Halloween party Oct 27th 2008

Our traditional Spooktacular family Halloween party was another hit.  We had 7 families come and play lots of games with us.

For the little kids we had the “Spooky walk” (a cupcake walk) and grab an apple (pick a plastic apple with a prize in it).

For the families we played:

1) “Waiter game”, (keep a balloon with a face on a plate as you relay other teams),

 2) Haunted ghost story called “Tragic Sam”: using different veg/fruit to make body parts they had to feel).

3) Trick or Treat Game: If they get the treat one then they got to choose a treat out of the bucket. If they get the trick they have to do what it said to earn the treat.

4) Bobbing for Apples

5) Ghost Charades: pop a white balloon that told you what to act out.

Later the kids played Ghost in the graveyard while the adults talked. It seemed like everyone had fun.

Douglas thought he would be funny by being a pregnant women who smoked and had a needle in his arm.  Emily did not think this was funny so he had to take the needle and cigar out before the friends came over.  (I guess he should have dressed up like this at the Adult's)
